Quantity Surveying
As independent chartered quantity surveyors, our role is to save our clients money amounting to far in excess of our fees.
In particular the main focus for the professional quantity surveyor is cost control of building projects.
We achieve this by controlling and reviewing the costs at all stages of the project - from planning to design and throughout the construction process, ensuring that a regular reporting process is implemented so that at all times the client is aware of his project costs exposure and can compare to established budgets.
This would typically include providing estimates of the likely building cost, preparation of tender documents comprising either schedules of work or full bills of quantities, valuing the works in progress for interim payments and agreeing the final account with contractor or package contractors
